Every sip is a ritual. Every morning is a homecoming.

This wraparound ceramic mug is covered in the sacred symbols of African and Afro-Indigenous heritage—a visual tapestry of ancestral wisdom that surrounds you as you begin your day. From the first pour to the last drop, you are held by the presence of those who came before.

The design features dozens of powerful symbols rendered in rich terracotta, burnt orange, gold, and cream against a deep black background. Each symbol carries meaning. Each pattern tells a story. Together, they create a visual altar that fits in the palm of your hand.

The Symbols:
African Masks represent the spirits of ancestors watching over you. Multiple mask styles honor the diversity of African cultures and the many faces of our lineage.

Adinkra Symbols are West African ideographic symbols that convey wisdom and philosophical concepts. This design includes the Ankh (eternal life), Sankofa (learn from the past), Gye Nyame (supremacy of God), and other sacred symbols that have guided our people for centuries.

The Raised Fist represents resistance, solidarity, and the ongoing fight for justice. It is a symbol of Black Power and the refusal to be silenced.

The Africa Continent appears multiple times, reminding us of the motherland—the source, the root, the beginning of humanity itself.

Geometric Patterns including chevrons, diamonds, Greek key designs, and tribal borders represent the mathematical genius and artistic brilliance of African civilizations. These patterns adorned temples, textiles, and sacred spaces long before colonization.

Floral Mandalas blend African and Indigenous design traditions, honoring the fusion of cultures that created the Cimarron spirit—two roots, one tree.

Cimarron honors the legacy of those who chose liberation over bondage—people who escaped, resisted, and built new worlds rooted in ancestral memory. Our name is a tribute to freedom seekers and the spirit of self-determination that guides our work.

Our garments are not just clothing—they are wearable altars. Every piece carries symbolism drawn from African and Afro-Indigenous traditions, intentionally designed to awaken memory, honor lineage, and protect the spirit. We center community, empowerment, and ancestral storytelling in everything we create.

Yes. All Cimarron garments are created for all genders and all journeys. Liberation has no boundaries—and neither does our clothing.

Each design emerges from the duality of movement and stillness, resistance and rest. We draw inspiration from traditional symbols, liberation stories, ancestral ceremonies, and the lived experiences of Afro-diasporic communities across the world.
