Shirley Chisholm — "Unbossed and Unbought" Tee
Description
In 1968 Shirley Chisholm became the first Black woman elected to Congress. In 1972 she ran for president. Not as a symbol, as a candidate. She told her own party she would not be managed, traded, or used as a prop for someone else's ambition. "Unbossed and Unbought" was the title of her autobiography and the operating principle of her entire career. She lost the nomination. She was not diminished by it. This tee is for everyone who refuses the terms they are offered and runs anyway.
Unisex fit, true to size, XS–5XL. 100% ring-spun cotton (heather colorways are a cotton/poly blend). See the size chart for measurements.
