Claudette Colvin — "First to Refuse" Hoodie
Description
Nine months before Rosa Parks, Claudette Colvin was 15 years old when she refused to give up her seat on a segregated Montgomery bus. She was arrested, dragged off, and then deliberately kept out of the story. Civil rights leaders decided she was too young, too complicated, the wrong face for the campaign. For decades, most people never knew she went first. She passed in January 2026 at 86, her name finally being spoken more widely than it ever was in her lifetime. "First to Refuse" is for the ones who moved before the world was ready to see them. Wear the name they tried to leave out.
Unisex relaxed fit, true to size, S–2XL. 80% ring-spun cotton / 20% polyester. Note: the hoodie runs S–2XL; the tee is available up to 5XL. See the size chart for measurements.
