Gratitude is not passive. It is not simply saying "thank you" and moving on. Gratitude is the practice of seeing the threads—the invisible connections between what was planted and what was harvested, between what was endured and what was learned, between who you were and who you are becoming. Gratitude is the act of honoring every thread that has woven you into this moment.

This design captures that sacred practice. At its center, hands are pressed together in prayer, in gratitude, in reverence. But these are not empty hands—they overflow with abundance. From the palms flow threads and vines, weaving through the design and carrying symbols of harvest, blessing, and prosperity: wheat for sustenance, fruits for sweetness, flowers for beauty, cowrie shells for wealth and ancestral connection.

The composition forms a circular mandala, representing wholeness, completion, and the sacred cycles of planting and harvest, giving and receiving, struggle and rest. Traditional African symbols for gratitude, community, and prosperity are woven throughout, grounding this practice in ancestral wisdom.

The text, "Threads of Gratitude," flows in elegant script, integrated with the thread motifs, showing that gratitude itself is a thread that weaves through our entire lives. Adinkra symbols for thankfulness (Akoma - the heart), unity (Funtunfunefu Denkyemfunefu - Siamese crocodiles sharing one stomach), and completeness (Nkyinkyim - life's journey) complete the design.

This is not just a year-end shirt. This is a wearable practice. A reminder to pause, to reflect, to give thanks for the harvest—even when the year was hard. Especially when the year was hard. Because gratitude is how we honor the journey, how we acknowledge the growth, and how we prepare to plant again.

Wear this when you need to remember: You have survived. You have grown. You have been blessed in ways you may not even see yet. Give thanks for the threads that hold you.

Yes. All Cimarron garments are created for all genders and all journeys. Liberation has no boundaries—and neither does our clothing.

Each design emerges from the duality of movement and stillness, resistance and rest. We draw inspiration from traditional symbols, liberation stories, ancestral ceremonies, and the lived experiences of Afro-diasporic communities across the world.
